I said there’d be audio evidence.. I’m Feeling Lucky live on the London Overground 11.5.13 for Sound Tracks Festival (recording by Alex Cohen)
Today I received the finished mixes of my new, 3rd EP (artwork 3rd from left), and right now I’m pretty damn excited about it’s release. It’s the most honest and stripped back record I’ve made. I’d love to make a video for one of the songs, and to do this I really need more pre-orders at my PledgeMusic Site, before my campaign ends in 11 days time.
Please consider pre-ordering the album of the 3 EPs before then (artwork furthest right), and help me to get this out there. You’ll get the new EP in 11 days time (a month or two before anyone else) as well as the first 2 EPs, a live album and much more. You can also pre-order it on CD (I know a lot of people are holding out for this), and have your name in it or have it signed. There’s T shirts and badges too. You can trust the site, and join 109 others who have already pre-ordered. Thanks for reading guys.

I did a 2 song session for the great Linda Serck’s BBC Introducing show on Saturday night, which you can hear HERE. I mumbled, but the music turned out pretty good I think. My first solo ‘Live at the BBC?!’ could well be.
Tomorrow, my strangest gig so far… accompanied by some very musical friends.
Peter Middleton & James Spinney’s wonderful short film ‘Notes On Blindness: Rainfall’ for which myself and Mike Murray wrote the soundtrack, was selected for the prestigious HotDocs 2013 film festival in Toronto, Canada last month. Pete and James went over to the festival and brought home the award for Best Short Documentary and the film has now been long listed for the Oscars!! Incredible stuff, many congrats guys.
I remember Bristol Jeff well from when My Lums played at the Louisiana, and met him after. A special person and this very honest article is really quite something.
Hello to my new followers from the Portugal. The Man show on wednesday. It was great to support them. If you didn’t see the mailing list, send me your email address and I’ll send you my first EP.
Wednesday’s last minute gig at Queen of Hoxton is now cancelled due to the headliner’s illness. Hope you see this if you were planning on coming.
I had the perfect audience at the Inspiral Cafe last night. Thanks to those who came especially. And so much talent for an open mic night. It was a pleasure to be asked to perform.
If you liked the 12 Bar Club performance of In My Dreams Tonight (below), I’ve put together a 7 track ‘Live at the 12 Bar Club’ album for free download in my latest PledgeMusic update. It’s for pledgers only, so please consider pre-ordering my 3-EP album and help yourselves to this as well as new demos and other one-off merch.
