Today I received the finished mixes of my new, 3rd EP (artwork 3rd from left), and right now I’m pretty damn excited about it’s release. It’s the most honest and stripped back record I’ve made. I’d love to make a video for one of the songs, and to do this I really need more pre-orders at my PledgeMusic Site, before my campaign ends in 11 days time.

I did a 2 song session for the great Linda Serck’s BBC Introducing show on Saturday night, which you can hear HERE. I mumbled, but the music turned out pretty good I think. My first solo ‘Live at the BBC?!’ could well be.
Tomorrow, my strangest gig so far… accompanied by some very musical friends.
Peter Middleton & James Spinney’s wonderful short film ‘Notes On Blindness: Rainfall’ for which myself and Mike Murray wrote the soundtrack, was selected for the prestigious HotDocs 2013 film festival in Toronto, Canada last month. Pete and James went over to the festival and brought home the award for Best Short Documentary and the film has now been long listed for the Oscars!! Incredible stuff, many congrats guys.
I remember Bristol Jeff well from when My Lums played at the Louisiana, and met him after. A special person and this very honest article is really quite something.

I had the perfect audience at the Inspiral Cafe last night. Thanks to those who came especially. And so much talent for an open mic night. It was a pleasure to be asked to perform.
